What Is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)?
Emotional Freedom Technique (commonly called EFT or “tapping”) is a gentle, empowering modality that combines elements of acupressure and cognitive‑emotional work. By lightly tapping on specific meridian points while focusing on an emotional concern or limiting belief, EFT helps release energy blockages, reduce stress, and shift emotional states.
EFT blends awareness, intention, and physiological cues—making it both simple and powerful for emotional, mental, and physical healing.
How EFT Works
- Identify the issue or feeling — You bring forward the emotion, memory, anxiety, or belief you want to shift.
- Tap on meridian points — With your fingertips, you tap gently on a series of energy points (such as the side of the hand, collarbone, top of the head, under the eyes, etc.) while stating affirmations or acknowledging the issue.
- Tune into sensations or shifts — As you tap and repeat phrases, you’ll often notice emotional releases, shifts in intensity, insights, or bodily sensations.
- Reassess and repeat — You re-evaluate how intense the issue feels, and continue until the charge is reduced or resolved.
Because EFT works with both the energetic body and the subconscious beliefs held in emotional memory, shifts can occur quickly—even within a single session.

- Integration & closure: We support your transition back to baseline, giving grounding tools or reflections to help the shifts anchor.
Sessions typically last 30- 60 minutes, and the atmosphere is held in compassion, safety, and non-judgment.
